Mindfulness Meditation apk Description
The app includes audio tracks to help you connect with the natural clarity of your mind. When we let-go of a past that has already gone, and a future that has not yet arisen, we find ourselves at home in the natural peace of our very own presence.
Track 1 is a brief (less than 4-minutes long) track designed to help you quickly relax and unwind, without loosing clarity or focus. This is perfect for parents and professionals and those who are busy in their lives and work.
Track 2 is a guided visualisation which draws upon analogies from the natural world, such as mountains, the sky, a sun-kissed meadow, and a still-forest pool to emphasise (1) the strength of the body, (2) the natural clarity of the mind, and (3) the joyous nature of the heart. (8:39 min)
BONUS Each track is accompanied by soundscapes by musicians Ant Aggs and Shannon Sol Carroll.
The main screen candle animation acts as a 'compass' for your meditation practice. You can also set an intention that will show up on the candle. (This intention feature will have its sharing options activated in the very near future)
We have also listed a few Tips for Meditation & to help you use this App to best effect.
Meditation is a skill that all of us can learn. Simple moments of being with your breathing can be enormously healing and refreshing. We just need a little patience and some realistic expectations.
More about Mindfulness Training Australia:
Our mission is to make mindfulness training and resources available for the purposes of enhancing skill development and psychological wellbeing. In teaching mindfulness to 1000's of participants, a key challenge for us has been to break mindfulness theory and practice into bite-size chunks that people can understand and relate to. Since 2007, we have conducted mindfulness courses for the general public, in commercial settings, in schools, to rural and regional GPs, and to community-based health staff. We are innovative and passionate about what we do. More about us can be found at www.bemindful.com.au.
